The water jet loom is a shuttleless loom that uses a jet of water to pull the weft yarn through the shed. The frictional traction force of water jet weft insertion on the weft yarn is larger than that of air jet weft insertion, and the diffusivity is small, which is suitable for the needs of filament weft insertion such as synthetic fibers and glass fibers with smooth surface. At the same time, it can increase the electrical conductivity of synthetic fibers and effectively overcome the static electricity in weaving. In addition, jetting the weft yarn consumes less energy and has the lowest noise.
Using clean water to guide the weft to fly over the shed, it is often used in the processing of hydrophobic synthetic filament fabrics, with low energy consumption and large variety limitations.
1. Water jet weft insertion system
Fixed-length device, water pump, nozzle, water drop sealer, edge forming device, etc.
2. Water quality requirements for weft insertion
3. Characteristics of water jet weft insertion
The weft insertion rate is as high as 1700-2000m/min, suitable for high-volume, high-speed, low-cost fabric processing;
The maximum loom width is 2.3m; multi-color weft function: 2 colors;
Weft insertion method: passive weft insertion; opening device: connecting rod, dobby;
Applicable yarn: hydrophobic fiber (polyester, brocade, glass) filament and spun yarn.
Applicable fabrics: synthetic filament fabrics, textured silk fabrics, for the processing of high warp density, original weave and small pattern weave fabrics.
Wastewater treatment: The waste water produced needs to be purified, so it is gradually replaced by jet and rapier.
